General Property Description

This property is located in Section 12 of Ohio Grove Township, Mercer County Illinois and consists of 2.798 acres.  It is improved with approximately 100,000-bushel storage and grain drying facility and an older Huskee-Bilt machine shed. The property is supplied with a very large 3 phase electrical service.

Bin #1

21’ H X 42’ Diam. FS grain bin built in 2010.  This bin is equipped with a Shivers grain drying system.  It is computer controlled in a separate 14’L X 10’ W control shed. This system can be operated remotely through a cell phone.  This bin has a drying floor and 2- 30 hp bin fans with burner units. 2-10 hp motors drive an 8” unloading auger.

 

Bins # 2 & 3

19’ H X 32’ Diam. Behlen grain bins with drying floor and 10” unloading augers powered by 3hp motors.  Bin #2 has 2- 20 hp bin fans and #3 has 1- 20 hp bin fan.

22.5’ H X 32’ Diam. Behlen grain bin with drying floor and 2 – 20 hp bin fans.

 

 

Bin #5

21.5’ H X 34” Diam. grain bin with drying floor and GSI 20hp bin fan.  This bin has an 8” unloading auger.

 

 

Machine Shed

Huskee-Bilt 105’ L X 44’ W X 14’ H machine shed with an 18.5’ open front lean-to running the length of the building on the South side.  There are 22’ W X 13’ H door openings on the West and East ends of the building.  There is a 17’ W X 12’ H door on the North side of the building.  The building is fully wired and there is an 18’ wide concrete pad in the west end of the building.  The lean-to has a 15’ wide concrete pad running the length of the building.  This building needs some repairs to bring it back to its full usefulness.
