FARM LOCATION: The Bertelsen farm is located along Route 67 and 30th Ave., 3 miles north of Alexis, IL or 6 miles south of Viola, IL, approximately 25 miles south of the Quad Cities.

 

PLAT LOCATION: 111.00 surveyed acres located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Suez Township (T.13N.-R.-2W.) Mercer County, IL.

 

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION: The property lies level to rolling and presently features approximately 79 cropland acres, including 2.38 acres in CRP. Primary soil types of the cropland include Muscatune silt loam (31.3%), Greenbush silt loam (19.62%) and Atterberry silt loam (12.7%) with an overall PI rating of 125.
